Aqua Source
The Aqua Source Filter removes dangerous water-borne contaminants and organic compounds from municipal water sources for great tasting, better-than-bottled, water at every faucet.

Did you know we absorb more chlorine through our skin and through inhalation during a 10 minute shower than we do drinking 8 glasses of water a day? The Safe Drinking Water Act mandates the EPA to strictly regulate contaminants in community drinking water. In order to meet those standards, chemicals like chlorine are added to our water supply. Trihalomethanes (THM’s) are a byproduct of the chlorination process that most public drinking water systems use for disinfection. Chloroform is the primary THM of concern. The EPA does not allow public systems to have more than 100 parts per billion of THM’s in their treated water. Some municipal systems have had difficulty in meeting this standard.

Activated Carbon is the most effective way to filter municipal water. Activated Carbon is nature’s filtering system, and is most effective in removing organic chemicals and compounds from the water. The water that is being delivered to us by our cities may not be as safe as we would like. What may be harmful to our health are all of the chemicals used by municipal water facilities to treat the water to rid it of bacteria. The chemicals being used in our water cause corrosion in copper piping, so what is it doing to our bodies?

Ultra Filtration
The Ultra Filtration system protects the water source from water-borne contaminants by removing turbidity, cysts, cryptosporidium, anthrax, bacteria, microsporidia spores, Legionella, protozoa, algae, and most Viruses*. The NSF (National Safety Foundation) approved system is a network of hollow fibers that filter the water down to 0.02 microns for safe water. It provides an effective barrier to ensure your water safety. The Ultra Filtration is an excellent base system, as it easily adapts to other components as part of a complete water filtration system. Since the Ultra-Filtration does not remove chlorine, installation of a carbon filtration system can be added to the Ultra-Filtration. Additional add-on components such as softeners, UV, O-Zone or reverse Osmosis systems can also be added for specific water conditions.

Ultimate Filtration with the Aqua Guardian
Until now, the only way to effectively protect the water source from water-borne contaminants has been reverse osmosis; however, reverse osmosis only protects the water at one fixture. The Aqua Guardian is a whole house water filtration system that combines ultra-filtration with carbon filtration to remove dangerous contaminants, chemicals, chlorine, and disinfection byproducts from the water. The first and only whole house water filtration system designed for all water sources that is installed right at the point-of-entry.
